CALIFORNIA DELTA - Kienes' Premier Destination

Destination Overview
The California Delta is one of the largest estuaries in the world. It covers 1100 sq miles and has over 700 miles of shore lines.
This incredible waterway contains Largemouth bass, Smallmouth bass and Striped bass. You will feel like you are in another world when you experience the Delta with one of our licensed, bonded captains.
The Delta is simply beautiful and huge. The experience is comparable to Florida or Louisiana in feel. Hunting for these species can be wildly frustrating but crazy fun at the same time. When you find and hook these fish, you will know you’ve had a great angling experience. It is even possible to obtain the Delta Slam – Smallmouth, Largemouth and Striped Bass on in the same outing.
This is a relatively easy trip with huge rewards. The price per person is exceptional too. Bookings are with party of 4 for reserved dates. Parties of 2 are available upon request at other dates, as available.

Fishing Program
We have specific dates already booked with our guides and lodges. You may take those dates, first come, first served.
You may request other dates and we will try to make the arrangements for you. Unfortunately, in the spring most guides are booked up early.
Call us and let’s get you on the Delta. It will be a wonderful fly fishing/vacation experience you will not forget.
These hosted trips are prime times with best tides of the spring season.
Guides
Kiene’s Fly Shop uses Captain Toby Uppinghouse and Captain Bryce Tedford as hosts/Captains for our stays on the Delta. These guys are the best of the best on the water and gracious hosts.

Accommodations
We book our guests at the B & W Resort. The rooms are kitchen equipped, double beds, air conditioned, knotty pine interiors with decks overlooking the boat docks and Delta.
This is a great place to share stories and refreshments after a great day on the water. The resort has a general store and café. The people at B & W Resort are very friendly and helpful.
Dining
B & W Resort has a great little café that served burgers, sandwiches and has a full bar. For something a little upscale we highly recommend Moore’s Riverboat Restaurant. Moore’s has a great menu with very profession staff. We’ve eaten there many times and have really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Moore’s is a 5 min drive from B & W Resort. As an option, guests may prepare their own dinners and breakfasts at their room. There are BBQs available.
